I bought myself flowers today. Why? Because they’re pretty. Because my vase has been collecting dust. Because I’m having friends for 4th of July brunch and flowers go nice with quiche. Because all those home decor magazines and blogs say that they “really brighten up a room.” Because no one else is going to buy them for me so I may as well do it myself. All of this reminds me of that ad campaign for L’Oreal or Herbal Essences or something. Why? Because I’m worth it.
