Mason Jar Smoothie
This is strawberries, slightly frozen bananas (my freezer is slightly broken), yogurt, milk (I prefer juice but don’t have any), and cocoa powder. It’s in a mason jar that used to hold salsa, and the blender apparatus is screwed on top. That’s right folks, standard mason jars will fit onto your blender. I’ve mentioned this trick before when I talked about making mustard, but it deserves to be said again. It’s perfect because I just drank the smoothie out of the jar - so much less to clean! And drinking out of jars is somehow better than glasses, though I haven’t quite figured out why.

What an awesome idea! The only problem is that I use all my mason jars to hold paint thinner. Time to “borrow” a few...
