Dressing the Part
My mom doesn’t dress for events so much as she does for holidays, and by that I mean, yes, she has many Christmas sweaters and accessories and no, that is not the only holiday to which this rule applies.
Me, I’m more prone to dress for certain events in a way I feel fits the mood: pencil skirts and scarves to the Soap Factory’s Common Room (which feels like an old office), and...

Neglect to bring extra underwear to change into after a run
Dig hot dogs out of a large crockpot full of grease water and hot dogs (wearing gloves, of course)
